After revamping their short-form video experience. Stakeholders wanted to bring the full episodes experience in house.

Background

For all the shows E! Entertainment owns, they are currently not hosted through their online property. In an effort to quickly get the content online they used a 3rd party provider to host and manage the authentication between the TV provider.

Goals

Design a simple and clean UX/UI with minimal development overhaul. The UX/UI should be in-line with long-form user viewing habits. Design should be easily pluggable to the current show package pages.

Challenges

Current 3 column page structure limits design. Multiple TV provider requirements and undefined features needed for future show marketing. 

Result

Project was sunsetted at development stage do to new management at NBC Universal absorbing all properties' long-form responsibility for TV everywhere.
